Yet another GL wrapper request

Ok, I have decided that I am going to use Invisionboard on my web site, available from www.invisionboard.com This board allows you to a 'wrappers' via the admin control pannel. I have the board installed in a directory withing my geeklog install. What I am looking for is code to add to the wrapper so that I can get the header of the site on top of the messageboards. I was also wondering if there was a way the sections block could be used as a seperate widget so basically I could redo the table layout of the messagboards and have that there also without the rest of the blocks.

Is this a PHP application? If so it will be quite easy. If not, it may be a bit tougher. If it is a PHP application then all you need to do is call COM_siteHeader and COM_siteFooter (after, of course, you include lib-common.php). If not you may need to pulls some other, more complicated tricks out of the bag.
The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.

I've had some success with includes. Take a look at this article and try using the header/footer PHP files.
In a world without walls and fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

I just had a look at the InvisionBoard too - looks kind of similar to Ikonboard. But PHP. I'm a complete beginner to PHP, but if I could get a bulletin board like this integrated into Geeklog, I'd have exactly what I need for a homepage I have to make for an online community I've been asked to set up. The wrapper file is this: <html> <head> <title><% TITLE %></title> <% GENERATOR %> <% CSS %> <% JAVASCRIPT %> </head> <body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'> <% BOARD HEADER %> <% NAVIGATION %> <% BOARD %> <% STATS %> <% COPYRIGHT %> </body> </html> I am fairly proficient with HTML, javascript, LotusScript and such like, but I'm new to PHP - I can't find anything in the existing posts, so anyone have any pointers? (I have a Geeklog running on Apache 1.3.5/PHP4/Windows2000Prof on my laptop). Thanks for any suggestions. Euan.

Yes, invisionboard is a php app. The reason I chose this board, because it is php, and when you set the database up, you can choose what you want to prefix your database tables with. That way I don't hvae to have geeklog and the forums in seperate databases. The site i'm running geeklog on is www.dal-us.net. On the right hand side there is a block that says Dal-us features, which has a link to the board. If you would like, email me directly and let me know when you have created an account on the message board, then I will give you admin access so you can poke around with the board itself.
