Google have announced the 177 organisations that are participating in this year's Google Summer of Code (GSoC). Unfortunately, Geeklog didn't make the cut.

However, we are still participating in GSoC 2013 thanks to The Fedora Project, who generously offered us one of their student slots. Thanks, Fedora!

If you are a student interested in working with Geeklog (and Fedora) in the Google Summer of Code 2013, please have a look at the project ideas we selected, which are listed over on the Fedora Project's ideas list.

The Geeklog Usage Stats [GUS] Plugin 1.7.2 is now available for download.

Sorry for the quick turn around but there where a few fixes that needed to be addressed:

  • [fix] fixed Who's Online block title not displaying
  • [fix] updated default block permissions so it doesn't display for anonymous users
  • [fix] fixed mistake in preg_match statement which prevented the block from displaying
  • [fix] updated use of the ban plugin to take into account the new version
  • [fix] fixed table rows not using alternate colors in most reports

This is a recommended update for GUS 1.7.1.
