A website I am working for is customized and it has wrong closing html tags only when index page for admin is displayed. I have that issue after upgradeing the geeklog of the site.

If the problem only appears on the Admin index page after upgrading Geeklog, I would first check both the customized theme and the installed plugins.

A plugin can cause this if it injects HTML into the Admin home page, adds an admin block, or uses an outdated template that is no longer fully compatible with the newer Geeklog version.

A few things to check:

- Temporarily switch to a standard Geeklog theme.
- Clear the Geeklog cache.
- Disable non-core plugins one by one and reload admin/index.php.
- Pay particular attention to plugins that add content or links to the Admin home page.
- Compare customized plugin templates with the versions expected by the current Geeklog release.
- View the generated HTML source and find the first place where the markup becomes invalid.

If the problem disappears after disabling one plugin, that plugin is very likely generating malformed or outdated HTML.

It would help to know which Geeklog version you upgraded from and to, which theme is being used, and which plugins are installed.
