Hello,

I’ve noticed that it’s currently not possible to update profile information on geeklog.net, especially in the About You section of the user profile. I have tried several times using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox), but the changes are never saved.

Could you please check if this is a site issue?

I tried with a new user and tested about half the feeds on the About tab and everything saved (I did not upload an image).

Do you know specifically what is not saving? Any error messages?

I did some more testing and noticed that my browser automatically inserted a value into the New Password field in the profile form each time. Because of this, the system treated it as a password change.

After clearing that auto-filled value, I was able to update the About You section and other profile information successfully.

When replying here in this thread, I got the following system message:


Strangely, even though this message appears, my reply is still saved and published.

On my latest reply, the error message did not appear. It may have been related to the fact that I had two tabs open at the same time — one for editing my profile and another for posting in the forum.
