I upgraded one of my sites today and noticed that comments and trackbacks got turned on for all stories. While checking that out I also noticed that if I edit a story with an image instead of seeing the usual [image1] in the text I see something like this
Text Formatted Code
<img width="437" height="619" src="http://www.mywebsite.com/images/articles/20100423100934998_1.jpg" alt="">
In order to save it I have to delete the http image tag and insert the [image1] text in its place.

Hmmm I am not sure how the comments and trackbacks got turned on. We haven't fooled around with those db columns in the install for a while now. What version were you upgrading from?

The Story image issue was reported before and I believe it has been fixed in Geeklog 2.1.0 (which should hopefully be released in beta in the next month or so).

I upgraded from 1.8.1.

Never mind on the trackbacks and comments. I checked my DB backup and they were turned on. I was thinking of one of my other sites.
