Long Story Gets Truncated

I'm still chugging along nicely using version 1.4.1
One issue I've had for a very long time is there is some limit on the size of a story. If the story is too long it just truncates it.
How can I increase the size of a story file?

Who long does it have to be before it gets truncated?
It is either the database truncating your stories, your webserver, or the browser.
If it is the database you will have to increase the size of the introtext and bodytext columns in the story table.
