I did not encounter any problem with slideshows in mediagallery 1.6.13.
In the albums:
-javascript,
-lightbox,
-flash
are working as autotag [ slideshow : XXXXX ]

What can I say? It just doesn't work for me, while it does in MG 1.5.1.
I see all the images loading at the same time until the last images loads and it just stays there.
I don't even see any slideshow code in the source code (while v1.5.1 had a dhtmlgoodies script).

Could it be browser related?
Does this slideshow (javascript) on the bottom of the page or this one in a lightbox (click Slideshow) is working?

You can try few things:
- change plugins order,
- disable all others plugins,
- debugging javascript,
- delete all mediagallery files and install a fresh copy.

Hi all,
I have confirmed this problem.
There were several factors for this problem.
One of the factors is the browser IE10.
One of the other factors is the version of jQuery.
It was also related to the position that jQuery is loaded is moved to the footer.
This position has been moved to the footer from the header with Geeklog1.8.0.
Most of the problems have been resolved by now.
However, Lightbox (Slimbox2) does not work correctly in combination with IE10 and jQuery 1.9.1.

Version 1.6.14 is out, but the Javascript slideshow still doesn't work for me (although I do see a Javascript that loads something and calls a play command).
MG 1.5.1's DHTML solution just worked without any glitch. Why did you stop using it?

What is DHTML solution?
Mind you, but I have never used the MG1.5.1.
I have confirmed all modes of the Slideshow (JavaScript, Lightbox, Flash(Disp), Flash(Orig) and MP3 Jukebox) works with the following browser and Geeklog.
Browser: Firefox 20, Google Chrome 26, Internet Explorer 10
Geeklog version: 1.6.0, 1.7.0, 1.8.0, 2.0.0
Please tell me your environment. Browser, Geeklog version, JavaScript etc.

Hooray, it finally loads! But...it's still not clickable!
The source code does have:
but it simply has no effect (it doesn't even display a hand mouse icon).
Please fix this too.

It works, thanks for all the fixes! You're a real pro.
Now that it works, can you add ALT support? Each image currently has an alt="".
But what troubles me more is that it visually shows the initial loading of all of the images at the same time. If they are different sizes, it looks a little unprofessional.
In v1.5.1 (the DHTML script), the initial loading was taking place backstage so it didn't matter.
But maybe it's a jQuery issue and not a MG one.

I know them. I want to solve the problem in a future version.

Thanks for this fix dengen. Has the fix been added to the latest Media Gallery download on your site or should I just grab the file (I am upgrading from a much older version)?
Since I publish a next version, please wait.
