Hello all,

I'm frustrated by something that should be easy to find yet I can't. How does one scale an image for an article?

There's reference to it on the article creation page but I can't find more explanation about it elsewhere.

Good of you to take time to read this,

dwl

Hi,

In the config >> images set "Image Library" to gdLib for exemple.
Set "Keep Unscaled Image" to true.
Set "Allow User Scaling" to true?

When you add image to a story, image will auto scale by the "Max Image Width" and "Max Image Height" settings.
When unscaled images are kept (see above), this option lets the user chose between using the scaled or unscaled image (original size) in the story. Use the [unscaledX] image tag to display full size image and [imageX] to display a thumbnail where X is the image number (1,2 or 3...).

Another way is to use advanced editor which allow scaling image individually.
