Just recently I have had comments on my web site from users who don't exist. I am running the latest issue of Geeklog. Following is an example:
Title: QKjVXJOIpYVGo
Username: ouplnfuc (173.212.206.186)
reMKPR peqarwmqjfyh, kjtbuoqifrlfsg, [link=http://hjkopknsztkjqln.com/]opknsztkjqln[/link], http://mnyyxnelbjwlvsv.com/
I have slightly changed the letters in the urls.
How is this being done and how can I stop it?

Hello,

Could you tell us witch geeklog version you are running? Is captcha or another spam fighting plugin are running on your site? Versions?

Thanks,

::Ben
I'm available to customise your themes or plugins for your Geeklog CMS

Note that anonymous users can now leave a username. So what you're seeing is an anonymous comment. You can moderate comments, disable anonymous comments, or install the CAPTCHA plugin (if you haven't already).

bye, Dirk

Thanks for the prompt relies. I will now install captcha. I upgraded my site with the latest versions of Geeklog and Bad Behavior2 last week and I have had three comments like this today.

As you have BadBehavior installed one can asume that these were no bots. So a manual spammer will also be able to pass captcha. Probably you have to live with it.
