This is something specific to my site, but I can't figure out what it might be. All the search by author searches, like this one fail. The failure explanation is:
Line 978 is:
return strpos(strtolower($haystack), strtolower($needle));
The reported variables on the error page are:
array(3) {
["this"]=>
&object(search)(13) {
["_query"]=>
string(0) ""
["_topic"]=>
string(1) "0"
["_dateStart"]=>
string(0) ""
["_dateEnd"]=>
string(0) ""
["_author"]=>
string(1) "2"
["_type"]=>
string(3) "all"
["_keyType"]=>
string(3) "all"
["_names"]=>
array(0) {
}
["_url_rewrite"]=>
array(0) {
}
["_append_query"]=>
array(0) {
}
["_searchURL"]=>
string(73) "http://www.macosxhints.com/search.php?query=&keyType=all&author=2"
["_wordlength"]=>
NULL
["_verbose"]=>
bool(false)
}
["haystack"]=>
string(118) "Enter the OS X 10.5 Best Hints Contest: Win a new iMac, iPod classic, or iPod shuffle!Read more • Official rules"
["needle"]=>
string(0) ""
}
Given that author searches work on geeklog.net, there must be something about the macosxhints.com site causing this problem. But I don't know what to look for? I've reverted all my search changes so it's 100% stock, and still no go.
Any ideas?
