Importing phpbb forum into GL forum

Hiall out there 
I've been using GL 1.4.1 and phpbbbridge since couple years now, and the time has come to upgrade to the latest GL version.
I'm wondering if there is a chanche to import the phpbb2 posts into the GL forum plugin.
For you to see, the site is www.imaccanici.org, i coded some things in past to adapt it to our cheap hosting, and i hope it's not getting too hard to upgrade everything.
