can't attach images

I can't attach Images at all and I'm using the professional template. I followed the image tag [imageX] and inserted it with the image number like [image1], but nothing shows and I can't save it. Why?

Did you try saving the story (not previewing it)?

What happens after pressing save, can you see the story at all? Is there anything missing, broken link?
