Can anyone help me out? please!


when i went to my site i got this error

An SQL error has occurred. Please see error.log for details.


So i checked out the error.log file

this is what i got...

[19-Nov-2008 14:45:23] XML error at line 1, check URL
[19-Nov-2008 22:17:36] XML error at line 1, check URL
[23-Nov-2008 21:04:13] XML error at line 1, check URL



can anyone tell me what to do?

From the timestamps, it's obvious that those errors are old. So if you don't have any newer entries, make sure that your error.log is still writable, then try again.

It's writable, but nothing has changed...

what can i do?

and hopefully other suggestions then delete my whole site and start over again!

We need to know what the problem is. So try this: Open system/databases/mysql.class.php in a text editor and find the line that reads
Text Formatted Code
var $_display_error = false;

Change that to
Text Formatted Code
var $_display_error = true;

Then try again. It should now display the SQL error in your browser. Post it here.

Important: Make sure to revert that change once we have figured out what the problem was!

Well, as the message says: Try repairing your gl_sessions table. phpMyAdmin, if you have that, has an option for that.
