I would like to remove the links at the bottom of items on the front page but keep them when the main story is viewed... How can I do that.
I.e. on the index page you see all the stories...
I want the bottom stuff out comments etc... and have it all there when you read the full story, I am finding people get confused on a site they visit quickly and think the intro is the whole story ...Because of the bits at the bottom of the intro...
Thanks...

Pretty simple. Edit storytext.thml, featuredstorytext.html, and archivedstorytext.html in your layout directory. These are the templates for how introtext is displayed

The full article uses article.thml

Arrow Read the Docs for theme develepoment at http://www.geeklog.net/docs/theme.html

This is the section you want to edit(don't delete the readmore_link part)
Text Formatted Code
    <div class="story-footer">
        {edit_link}&nbsp;{page_selector}<br />        {readmore_link} {post_comment_link}<br />        {start_comments_anchortag}{comments_with_count}{end_comments_anchortag} {start_trackbacks_anchortag}{trackbacks_with_count}{end_trackbacks_anchortag}
    </div>
