Making Double Columns in Blocks?

Hello and thank you for looking at my situation.

Is there a way to create two columns in the block area so that I can
promote two sets of ads?

My site- United States-America.net has several blocks but there is a lot of space on the sides that I would like to fill.

Hi It is possible. In "Normal Block" you can enter some HTML and create two column table for example. Like this:

<table width="100%" border="1">
  <tr>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>
  </tr>
