I just started using geeklog and find it very versatile compared to other CMS's that i previously used. That said you'll probably hear from me a lot lol, now the thing is I installed the Nexpro theme which works fine in both firefox and internet explorer, but when i log into the admin panel it changes back to the professional theme? Any suggestions?

No i read all that, obviously i had to change that to get Nexpro to display at all in the first place, my theme chooser is also disabled.

Delete the cookies for that site. If that doesn't work, try renaming the professional directory temporarily so that the new theme takes hold while you play in the new theme. Then rename the pro theme back to see if it held.
