CMS without database - PostgreSQL

I was quite astonished the other day to learn that there are blogs / CMS without database. This one can run with XML: http://www.toendacms.com/index.php/en/06176.html
Would that be a good option for Geeklog too? Or, considering the many cpanel installations which almost all offer PostgreSQL , may PostgreSQL be a solution because of all the overloaded MySQL servers?

Someone would need to write /pathtogeeklog/system/database/postgresql.class.php to support postgreSQL. Until someone has an absolute need for it, it won't happen.
