In recent days/weeks I've had someone/something register on my site without ever logging in to validate the registration. I'm guessing its a spammer or a bot. I would like to be able to determine the IP address of this individual/computer and then ban it. What is the best way to determine the ip. I have Visitor Stats installed but unless they log in I can't go in the stats and see the ip address. All other entries are listed as anonymous and I'm not sure which anonymous is the offender.
Anyone have any ideas on how to best handle this situation? Is the IP Recorded in the db somewhere?
Thanks,

Do you have access to the webserver logfiles for your site? Should be easy to match the date/time of the registration with the logfiles and find the IP address there.
bye, Dirk
Yes, I do. Great answer. This will work perfect. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
