Could any of you help me with following problem:
I'd like to use geeklog as - let's say - pin board. A registered user can post tasks and "check out" tasks.
For tasks I use stories. now I need a possibility (button, link), where a user could check out the task for him Other users will see an info on the story, that it is checked out by XYZ.
Via another butten, the user who check out, should have the possibility to release the task.

Any ideas?

There is the Things To Do plugin in the downloads section. But it is out of date - not sure if it would work with the present release of Geeklog.

Well you could simply give that group of users working on the project the right to edit that one story. If you make a table and the users may edit the word 'open_ -> 'done by XY' it would be more or less what you wanted.
