How do I delete old stories?

I deleted a topic but two old stories from that topic are still showing in the left column. How do I get rid of them?

Do you mean they're still listed in the Older Stories block? In that case, go to the block editor, edit and save that block without changing anything - that will force-refresh it.

Also, if that's the case, please file a bug report.
