Quick theme editing question

I like the contemporary_v1 theme by Axonz but I don't like the squashed center blocks. I do like the Axonz Red theme for this reason but prefer the colors and style of the contemporary. What would need to be done to the contemporary theme to cause the centerblock to fill all available space on the screen? Thanks!
