Geeklog Forums

I get an error when clicking on any topic that was there previously:"Topic does not exist. It possibly has been deleted"

I'm not that good in mySQL but simple checks like checking the database again, it does shows that the following exists:

# Browse gl_forum_banned_ip
# Browse gl_forum_categories
# Browse gl_forum_forums
# Browse gl_forum_log
# Browse gl_forum_moderators
# Browse gl_forum_settings
# Browse gl_forum_topic
# Browse gl_forum_userinfo
# Browse gl_forum_userprefs
# Browse gl_forum_watch

I did a simple query

SELECT *
FROM `gl_forum_forums`
WHERE 1
LIMIT 0 , 30

It does shows the forums names. how do i show if the actual topic really exist for example if the previous link @ myGLsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=110&fromblock=yes

I suspect maybe the db was not imported? or at least not fully?

i found another problem, could be related. link at myGLsite/admin/plugins/forum/settings.php, when i change anything, it is not saved no matter what. why so? it's running on a windows machine with apache, mySQL and php all running fine (i have another 2 GL older sites running older versions on this box), but it doesn't save.
