Error opening downloaded tar file

I just downloaded the latest tar file for GeekLog. When I try to open it with Winzip, I get the following.

"Error reading header after processing 0 entries"

Do you have GeekLog as a Zip file?

Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the file name. I renamed the extention to .gz and it worked fine.
