Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /usr/lib/php/pre.php on line 451

This all I get when I try to pull up my site. ???? It was running beautifully 10 minutes ago.

What the heck does that mean???

Looks like your hosting company has made a change to the PHP installation or edited the pre.php file, I would contact their technical support and report the error, they should be able to get it fixed ASAP.
