Somebody mentioned this in the forum at portalparts.com, but I didn't find a response. It seems like a simple thign to me, but I can't figure it out, so it must not be as simple as I am...

When members use the italic button when writing a forum post, the close tag is missing the / character. The code comes out as:



All the other code buttons function properly. Where do I fix this?

Never mind; a friend found it for me.

It's in one of the javascript files. "createtopic.js", line 36:

/(theme)/forum/javascript/createtopic.js

Just add a slash to the second bracketed i in that line. It's in the "Define the bbCode tags"
section.

There's another bug in the same place. the word "here" is inserted just in front of the close URL tag, with the result that every link comes u with "here as part of the link, making it invalid.

Delete the word "here" and you're gold.
