I am trying to share a database between two sites using 1.4. I've done some searching on these forums and attempted an older trick using the lib-database file to call specific fields but keep getting an error that is not showing in my servers error.log

I am basically looking to share users across the two sites. Also is there a way to get specific with the story admins so that I can specify who can post stories on each site and not have control over both sites?
