I did a fresh install for 1.4.0ssr2 on an intranet here at work.
The geeklog install workd perfectly (I can do everythin I am supposed to do), but I can't install plug-ins. Tried easyfile and filemgmt.
When clicking the "ïnstall" button, I just come back to the same page I started at.
Am I the only one with this problem?
I also for the first time am doing this on a windows server. Could it be related to that....?

My guess is that you have register_globals=OFF and these plugins have not been updated to work with register_globals=off. You can turn on register_globals and see if that solves the problem, or you have edit the install.php files and make them work with register_globals=off. Here is a link to the forums on my site where this was discussed for Media Gallery.
Thanks!

Mevans!
That's a really good idea to check! Thanks! Not so easy to change on that server, though...
