ok, i gotten the file "mysql_1.3.11_to_1.4.0.php" from CVS but when i now run the upgrade, it give me:

1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '( cid int(10) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, sid varchar(40) NOT NULL, ' at line 1

It seems this may be relevant so here it is, mySQl version running on this box is "MySQL 4.1.9-nt"

You're missing more than one file, it seems. You also seem to be using an old version of lib-database.php

Double-check that you have uploaded all the files from the tarball. Yes, I'm sure they're all in there, including mysql_1.3.11_to_1.4.0.php

bye, Dirk

I'm experiencing the same problem. I've checked to ensure that all of the files have been uploaded, and I'm still getting the error. What else could it be?

Double-check that you have a copy of system/lib-database.php that contains an entry for the 'trackback' table, since that is causing the error.

Thanks.

It was actually because I have 2 installations of Geeklog, and some of the files were pointing to the wrong folders.
