events not displaying

I've added an event but my event block still displays 'no upcoming events'. Can anyone offer any hints on this?

I've tried adding multiple events, moving the event block. enabling/disabling.. not sure what else to try.

By default, the block only displays the events for the next 14 days. See config.php:

Perfect. Changed it to 30 days and my event shows up fine. Thanks for the tip.

Big thanks to the developers. I really like Geeklog so far & its really easy to configure. I've tried some other 'big-time' CMS and they seemed really overboard.
