I am wondering if i can add another type of user for filemgmt access.

Right now if someone registers on the site they automatically have access to the files.

If i want to allow access to only certain users i would have to de-select "Enable Logged-In Users access" then set that only the users i want as "filemgmt admin".

Now the problem here is that the user has the ability to go nuts on the files.

Is there a way to add another level of access for filemgmt?

Logged In User - Has access to all normal features of the site except for filemgmt

Filemgmt User - Has access to *download* files from the filemgmt

Filemgmt Admin - Can edit filemgmt

There is no such capability in Filemgmt plugin. You have two choices:

You can use EasyFile plug in, that can be found in the download area.

Or, you can ask Blaine at www.PortalParts.com to customize the Filemgmt for you, for a fee.
