sql error

My site was up and running for weeks with no problem and yestarday all of sudden i get this error and the next morning my site is running again. I am confused, i am not sure what happen between yestarday and today. what can i do so this doesn't happen again?

Sounds like your hoster got a problem "Can't connect to local MySQL server ". Either tell him or try again later. Usually they know already that there is a problem.
