I rather think there is a bug. If you look at this beta test site:

The ranking is only partly shown. But if you wait a few days version 1.4.1 will be out and it makes more sense to discuss it then rather than to install a new fresh set of files now.

I did see these:
centerblock_displayline.thtml
centerblock_header.thtml
centerblock_footer.thtml

I re-uploaded them anyway but it didn't change anything.

Are you using forum 2.3.2? If not try updating. There should be a file in that directory called centerblock_main.thtml
