geeklog does not show events for next year!?

Hello!
It´s a very little thing but I can´t find the solution for my problem. Some kind of not able to see the tree inside the wood !?
My problem: Me and my users post events for upcoming year 2006 but it won´t show them... why?

Won't show them where? The Upcoming Events block only shows events for the next 14 days, so 2006 is just a few days too far away yet.
See config.php:
Change that to, say, 30 and it will start showing dates for early January.
