I finally, with the help of Geeklog, am on my way to the website I have been dreaming about for the last three years. Connect2Mechanic.com is an Auto Repair Consumer Advocacy center. I have an auto repair related question of the week, forum and classified section. When it is up to full speed, a consumer with a major auto repair problem (engine repair, transmission overhaul, etc.) can hire a technician to repair the vehicle from their home through this site. The consumers will be able to "rate" the performance of the technician after the repairs are done, to allow future consumers the ability to determine if they want to hire the tech, also. I am working on the scripts for this part of the site, and will post when all is functional. Any help on this part would be greatly appreciated, BTW...
