MySQL DB Backup Problem

Whenever I try to Backup my MySQL DB in Geeklog, it says this-

ERROR: Directory /home/simsgal/public_html/backups/ is not accessible.

what is the problem/ how do I fix it?

2 ways to fix:

1. with root access, chown webuser.webuser /home/simsgal/public_html/backups or chown webuser:webuser /home/simsgal/public_html/backups (replace webuser with a user that run your web server)

2. without root access, chmod 777 /home/simsgal/public_html/backups

The instructions to install Geeklog? I installed it in CPanel...so I didn't install it by myself.
