Creating additional topics for the same problem won´t help you much further Mr. Green

Anyway, did you check your log files and see if they contain something ?

Also .....

As i installed gl a red message stated that the globals were=off
but when i checked the php.ini file it was "on" -- this file was in the root directory only.

strange i got this error message ... unless it is a standard display while intalling

Go to admin/moderation.php ("Submissions" from the Admin's Only block). Do you see a message about register_globals being off there? If so, it's really off.

bye, Dirk

I'm not sure if he is having the same problem I am having...but it sounds similar. You can view my issue here:

http://www.geeklog.net/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=8&showtopic=45245&mode=&onlytopic=&show=20&page=3

I thought it may have just been a problem with the two file managment plugins I was tyring to install (FileMgmt & Easyfile) but starting to wonder if it was a problem with my installation of GL.

If there is any more information I can provide to help troubleshoot, please let me know.

Thank you.
