I have the latest version of xampp installed on my machine. I want to install geeklog and play with it before I go "live." I have been trying wordpress and so far have had no luck with the famous "5 minute install" (it has been three days) and have run out of patience.

What I need to know is EXACTLY install geeklog. Where, the settings, everything!

I know nothing about mysql or any of that stuff.

It would help if you could ask specific questions: What exactly do you not understand?

If you're having trouble with WP's 5 minute install I don't think the GL install will go any better for ya.
