Emailing HTML stories

In an older GL versions, emailing stories with html in them would cause the recipient to receive a muddled email. I think I submitted a yucky temp solution here. I wonder if this issuewill be properly fixed in CVS. I submitted a bug fix request, but can't seem to find it.
