Error Code!!!!!! help

When i try to get into my geeklog site:

One or more files of your database are defective. Try repairing your tables in phpMyAdmin.

ok can someone be nice and tell me how to repair this. Im new to everything. I have phpmyadmin but i dont know how to do anything. someone plz help Sad

i googled it and came up with this:

Repairing a MySQL table (MyISAM)

To repair a corrupted MySQL table either following this video, or the steps bellow.

1. Log into phpMyAdmin (https://yourdomain.tld/mysql)
2. Select a database from the drop down menu on the left. A list of tables in that db will appear directly below the drop down menu.
3. In the main content area, select the check box next to the table you want to repair
4. In the With Selected drop down bellow, select Repair Table. You should now see a SQL-query message telling you that the status of the table is OK
5. At the top of the main content area, click the STRUCTURE tab
6. Select the same table again but this time select Optimize Table from the With Selected drop down. You should now see a SQL-query message telling you that the status of the table is OK.

Your MySQL table should now be repaired.


is this what i should do? if so what table do i select?

since no 1 answered i just decided to repair all tables using the above method but i still get that error.

Did you get any error messages from phpMyAdmin?

Then something is really wrong. Contact your hosting service and / or restore the database from your backup.
