Put a poll inside an article

Looks like I want yet another crazy thing....
I want to make an article that attracts attention to a poll.
I want that poll to be inside the body of the article.
I don't mind being called crazy for wanting this, but I would like it better to receive directions on how to make this possible.

putting it into a php enabled staticpage is no problem, just call the function COM_pollResults(), which you can find in lib-common for more info.
to put it into an article without modding the core you would have to hardcode the function's html output into the article, ensuring that whatever html you use is allowed (form, input, etc.). So it's really not possible--or at least easy.
