curious
I am having trouble when editing forum posts. If smilies are in the post, when the edit screen is open the smilies are converted into script ie:
Text Formatted Code
....<img src="http://......./images/smilies/banana.gif" ALT="Woo Hoo" TITLE="Woo Hoo" BORDER="0">

instead of leaving it as :woo.

If the edited post is left with
Text Formatted Code
....<img src="http://......./images/smilies/banana.gif" ALT="Woo Hoo" TITLE="Woo Hoo" BORDER="0">

instead of leaving it as :woo it will not insert the smilie.

This doesn't occur on the GL site.

The underline function, font color and font size funtions don't work either. (Would this be due to the type of browser being used? I am using IE6)

All other funtions work fine.

Can anyone suggest any reasons why this occur?

Regards

Also when using the CODE function it doesn't box the code in as done above in this post?

Read the FAQ Why does Geeklog remove certain HTML tags?

Make sure you added the forum's CSS definitions to your stylesheet (refer to the forum's installation instructions).
