I'd like to change the sort order of stories on the main page. Right now I have them alphabetical by story title. I'd like to sort them so the most popular rise to the top. I did do a search here but found nothing that looked appropriate. Any ideas?

heres a block for you... If you don't want the block, the code therein should help you hack the core and that's what you'll have to do if you want to sort by hits.
