I was using GL and edited a story with a link to a static page. The link was in the body and was this:

Once I saved this page I now receive this error:
7/4/2005 4:27:00 PM - 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds
to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE sp_id = '1'' at line 1. SQL in question:
SELECT sp_title FROM WHERE sp_id = '1'

I am a newbie on GL and mySQL and was hoping someone had a fix for me?/

Did some more digging and was able to get into the DB and remove the tag from that specific table. So the error is gone but I still have a question:

So I looked in the documentation and did a search as well and I cannot find out how to link to the static page. This is the link that caused the problem: ....imagine it with brackets around it!!



Anyone know the proper code?

The proper syntax is "staticpage:", followed by the page's id and all that enclosed in square brackets:
However, even if that page does not exist, it should never produce an SQL error. Your problem appears to lie elsewhere.

Specifically, the name of the gl_staticpages table is missing from that SQL request, so that's what caused the SQL error. Did you try to modify any of the files of the static pages plugin?

I have never edited anything in the DB or in the plugin...and when I change it to the proper coding I still get the error.

Where should I check?
