How can add emotion icons in my forum geeklog ?

first of all copy the new emoticons to smilies directory under forum -> images.
second you have to modify 4 files inside forum distribution.
- functions.inc (function forum_xchsmilies)
- gf_format.php (function gf_restoresmilies)
- include_html.php
- print.php

See how it is constructed and I'm sure you will be able to modify/add new icons easily.

I was able to add the icon no problem. But it won't acutally post in a message.

Any idea what I might have missed or not done?

I used a non-animated gif and it shows up in the smiles to the left. I gave it an assignment of:

Any help would be much appreciated. Its fun adding them in, I just need to know why its not posting in the message when its clicked on.

Since you have purchased glMessenger , you can now use the intergrated smilie admin in glMessenger and add the icons online without needing to copy up images or change any code.

Forum 2.5 has the online admin option to enable the glMessenger smilie admin use and the older version of the forum had a public/forum/include/config.php option
