And this might be a good change in the next update.

What I would like to see in the new Content Syndication area is Links (all links which is already there) and Link Categories so I can syndicate one category.

Done, I put in a feature request. If I develop a hack or patch I'll place it in the patch area.

I would also like syndication for comments, i.e. a global comments feed or a per-story comment feed (maybe in the "what's related" block) to follow conversations more easily
