IUSR folder rights on windows setup?

Hi,
I have been having a few problems with rights to folders. My setup passed all the check.php tests but I still got errors so on a few of these folders I had to add modify for IUSR.
My site loads fine, I can add stories and photo's but can't add a comment to any stories, any ideas?
Could someone tell me what rights IUSR should have on the main GL folder and the public_html folder, this would be very handy.
Thanks.

That doesn't have anything to do with directory or file permissions.

So what happens when you try to post a comment? Which Geeklog version, which theme?

bye, Dirk

Hi Dirk
GL 1.3.11 with pro theme
win2000 server with IIS

I did have the site running fine for a while but then my HDD failed so have rebuilt everything.

when I click 'submit comment' the browser reports that the page can't be found.

then if I go back to my site it reports 1 comment under the story, but I get the same error when I try to look at the post.

Sounds more like a problem with the URL. Or maybe you're simply missing the article.php file.

Hi
I have checked my database and it lists the comments, so for some reason they are not getting called properly.

I have checked article.php and other files are all ok. Just to be on safe side I re-copied all the files in public_html file.

So when you get the "page not found" message, what is the URL it's trying to load? Does it seem to make sense?

Oh, and did you activate URL rewriting (in config.php)? Because that is known not to work on IIS.

bye, Dirk
