Hi. I've been working with the freely offered geodesic (lite) which has more than enough of the bells and whistles to make an easy to use, display and administer auction site. I've run across some "walls" because I'm not a PHP guru, but, getting there (doesn't come with much in the way of docs and some code is depreciated) . Anyone else been working with an "auction" to incorporate into GeekLog? William

You could try to wrap Geeklog around it with the external pages plugin. But you might get a session cookie problem.

Thanks for the reply although I haven't yet gotten to the stage of how to plug it in. Still trying to get the auction to work properly. I have used the static page in the past with an I-Frame. I'll keep your idea in mind also. Anyone else used/using an auction plug-in?

Bringing this up again, because I did notice that PHP-Nuke offers an auction plug-in but has a cost ($40). Not the way I want to go since it seems I always have to spend alot of time messing with the look. By the time I get done with it they ought to pay me . Again, anybody got a handle on a easy to use and freely offered auction program (php)? William

I have played with this one.
It was easy to use but I never did try to get it working within the GL infrastructure but that would be the coolest.

If you are on a cPanel server it is included in Fantastico

You are going to buy Phpauction GPL with no additional services at $24
Thanks for the reply. But, PHPAuction isn't free although GPL. I guess I'm cheap . William

A thanks again for heading me in the right direction with PhpAuction. I have it configured on my server and it seems to be running well except for a couple glitches which I am going to try to figure out this evening. For that matter, I am using an older version and perhaps dinking around on Freshmeat will pull up some more answers. Thanks again.
