Forum user level / custom title?

Is there a mod or hack to give users a custom level or title?

Right now we have 5 levels which are determined by the number of posts plus moderator and admin, but is it possible to somehow assign a custom level (possibly with image?) or title (just text) to a user?

I couldn't find anything searching, maybe nobody's asked for this before?

Not currently - I figured 5 was sufficient
