Well, I will not hesitate to say that I am a newb with this blog program, but I am having some very odd problems with Geeklog.

First, sometimes when I go to my blog

a different Theme shows up, other than the one which I have it set to. It keeps randoly reverting to the Professional theme, and I have no idea why.
Secondly, I have posted a story and assigned it a catagory, but it will not show up under the catagory, or any catagory, under any user, or logged out. This is really slowing me down. I am sure there are some very newbrish answers for my newbrish questions, but please, let me hear them. I need them. Badly.

my, my.... I have just posted a new story, and it shows up! But I still cannot get that other one to show up in a topic.... the other problem still persists though.

Your default theme is professional for withasideofalbatross.com.

If you want to change this for everyone you will have to adapt the CONFIG.PHP so change the parameter theme to the theme you want as the default.

If you are aware of the above, and that´s what you want, I would blame it on the cookie or the used theme

As an anonymous visitor I can only see one topic, called Mike the Madman. No other topics are available for anonymous users at the time of this posting.

Are you really sure you created this story ? and saved it ?
Do you see it when you go to admin > stories ?

If you see it there, is it a draft, are the permissions ok, ...
