Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to show the whole subject in the forum index. It's OK if it wraps. I'm looking at the forum code but it's taking me a while... Rolling Eyes

Has anybody done this before?

Embarassed OK, I'm blushing, I found the Title Length setting. D'oh!

Well, in that case a different question: I'd like the topic title / subject to wrap, so that long subjects don't make the window bigger than my 1600x1200 resolution monitor... Any ideas on that one?

OK, found it in:

/path/to/public_html/layout/theme/forum/layout/topiclist_line.thtml

OK, somehow it seems this forum thread with myself helped me. Wink

Well, I'm not going to blush about this! I'd like to know where the "title length" setting is for the left-block "Recent Commands" is...I've poked around in various files, I even found another article about it, but I'm stumped as to where this is.

Another question--I want to change the "Recent Comments" title of the block, I want to add some text to that block as the first content in that block...anyone have a suggestion where? I'm poking around in htdocs/forum/index.php and viewtopic.php, but I'm not seeing it.

I'm getting tired of saying, sorry I'm such a noob at GL! But apparantly I am. Thanks for any help!

The code for the forum's side and the center blocks should be in the functions.inc, i.e. /path/to/geeklog/plugins/forum/functions.inc

bye, Dirk
